The day at IIT

 " How i'm gonna win the competition ?" This was the thought That was running in my mind around 12.40 A.M Is the hostel of mandakini.

      It all started on december second a post sent by My school friend venkat, regarding Iit madra's shaastra , And that was the time I was Working on a paper recording xenobots And I was consistently participating in outer colleges.

     So after seeing The posts sent by my friend. I was eager to visit I. I. T and Experience the atmosphere and explore it , Show I started Working up on the paper , and eventually the shastra Announced their Topics for the paoer preparation, Luckily my papers xenobots Came under one of their category , But the twist was I was competing with the biotechnology students. 

     I had a doubt, will my paper will be selected for the next round or not , Again, a miracle happened out of three eighty papers, only eight were selected and my paper was also one Among them, So after that, I I started preparing myself to compete biotechnology students on their domain. I had a lot of experience in paper presentation during that time as I was consistently winning During that time.

    On 04.01.2024 I boarded a train towards chennai, With a lot of expectations from my parents and myself, on 05.01.2024 I reached Iit madras Around 7.40 A.M , A completely new atmosphere, so pleasant and was looking like a road in a forest, My first impression I saw the gajendra circle It was looking like a heaven, deers grazing , monkeys jumping , peacocks dancing. 

My Mom was also on the campus , The project she mentored was also selected , So 05.01.2024 I I didn't have any events, but my teammate had chess competition , He was busy with a competition, and I had lots of time, 2 explore the campus. I was just admiring about the building and atmosphere there , People there were Super cool even the securities, On the hostel day, alert for us was Mandakini. It was the newly built hostel for the first years, and it had nearly two thousand rooms and 9 flours , Then I use the local transport the buses in I. I. T and I was just exploring the campus , As the time went the campus Looked so elegant and beautiful .

   As the time started moving, a small fear just started to grow upon myself. Doubting me will I able to secure a place as the people? There were super cool and so knowledgeable, as well as I'm C.S.E guy competing with Biotechnology students on their domain, Around twelve forty I completely lost the hope upon me and that time My miracle came , My close friend from my school venkatasubramaniam came He Was also there on the campus for a hackathon, And we both just went on to himalayas, and we had tea around 1.00 a.m And that was the moment I just Gain confidence. He was of great support during that time. He just encouraged me.

And help me a lot.

  

After the around eight o'clock, I was there on the venue alloted for me , They were choosing the teams to present randomly, I was not the first team, I got time to prepare, Most of the teams were from north india, and some were from 

I, I.T too, They were presenting so well. Then they called the team "BIOTRIO" to present , At the time, the only thing that was running on my mind is to win.I did not consider any other competers, Initially hard team struggled but after sometime, The fire inside me got lit up I just started to Give my best without considering any other things, During viva Also, we initially struggled, but then I managed their questions, I thought I will not be selected.

And it was the time to announce The winners, They announce the winners of the competition. I was happy for them because really did well , next They announced the runners of the competition.

There was no doubt because they Nearly proposed a new way to research, And Finally they called the team name"BIOTRIO" As SECOND RUNNERUP Of the competition. 

At that moment I was dumb struck, unable to speak any words. The only thing that came into my mind during that time was the people behind that venkata, subramanian, and my parents, they were constantly supporting me and help me.

   That was the moment I realized hard work will pay off. That was incredible Journey, Where I meet different people and exposed myself and That made me walk out of my comfort zone. This will be one of my greatest memory .
